Bigger is better when it comes to your field of view on the mountain. The Smith Squad XL goggles feature our largest cylindrical lens for full-width vision in any terrain. The view is backed up by sharp optics and our highest level of anti-fog tech. ChromaPop lenses heighten contrast and color, so whether you are ripping high-speed arcs or sighting your landing, every terrain feature comes through loud and clear.
What's Included
Coming in at $270, the squad xl sits in the category of "I want better than basic goggles, but I don't want to spend $500 and can live without fancy things like magnetic lens swapping". For the money, you get 2 chromapop series lenses, 1 low light lens and 1 every day or high sun lens depending on the model. Note that getting 2 top quality lenses is a major perk of the smith goggles, as not alI goggle brands in this price range give you multiple lenses... in my case I got the Zeb Powell limited edition version which also comes with a colour matched goggle sock, awesome! Field of view with the XL lens is excellent and fit just fine with my K2 helmet. Lens swapping can be slightly fiddly but is easy enough once you know how to do it (coming from a magnetic lens I do miss that a bit but considering it's about $450 to get that feature... I'm willing to let it slide). Great goggles, would recommend!
