Rental Snow Technician Positions
The team at Base Ultimate Rentals Queenstown and Wanaka are looking for new team members to join our epic existing staff for the winter season.- Dedicated to delivering superior customer service.

- Min 1 years’ experience ski & snowboard rental preferred - but not essential.

Boot fitter (Ski Technician) Position
We are looking for a motivated person who thrives in a busy and highly interactive work environment and has the following attributes:
- Min 2 years’ experience ski & snowboard boot fitting
- Experienced in biomechanical foot assessment.
- Expert in making custom orthotics, installing heating systems, custom boot moulds.
- Experience in workshop Waxing/Edging & drill/mounting of skis would be beneficial.
- The successful applicant will be a team player with a well-developed service focus and “can-do” attitude.
- The ability to use their own initiative, to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Friendly, organised and customer focused.

Workshop (ski technician) Position - Wanaka
- Min 1 years’ experience working in a ski workshop including use of Grindrite and Wintersteiger machinery.
- Historical knowledge of skis and snowboards plus a good understanding of industry trends is a must.
- Experience in ski+snowboard boot fitting, training and problem solving would be beneficial but not essential
- The successful applicant will be a team player with a well developed service focus and “can-do” attitude
- The ability to use their own initiative and to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Friendly, organised and customer focused.
