Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. With so many mountains to explore, the Passport is the key to accessing uncharted terrain. The Unisex K2 Passport snowboard is an inspiring addition to the line and the Landscape Collection. 

Built for the intermediate-to-expert level rider and shaped and sized to be unisex (oh yeah!), the Passport is directional in every way but remains switch and fakie friendly. Slightly wider-than-average waist width is met width 8mm of taper to ensure easy turning and float in deep snow. It is complemented by an elongated rocker profile from the front insert pack throughout the tip. A tighter sidecut radius in the tip and tail allows you to engage turns easily, while a longer radius between the feet makes the turn smooth and predictable progression.

A1 Core - Lightweight, snappy, and durable, the all-new A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - bamboo, aspen, and paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, it's combined with bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. They've also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swing weight.

Camber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have an edge hold enough to drive in and out of turns, the Camber acts as a shock absorber on cars they push the wheels into the road to enhance grip. The camber does exactly that to the edge. Allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.

The Y3D Jib/Street is the most cozy 3D in the collection. A real smooth operator that will have your back all day long. Easy to navigate short and sketchy in runs and the most forgiving 3D giving comfort in progressing your rail game.

Extruded 

This Carbon Layup configuration adds longitudinal stiffness to the nose and tail area’s while keeping the board torsionally softer between the bindings. This will help keeping the nose from folding in high speed run and makes your ollies pop as high as possible while keeping the board nice and responsive between the feet.

YES worked closely with their women’s team to get a strong park board and wanted to apply the park performance to the Y3D. So, YES made a version of the Rival for the women who want the performance of the triple base. The Menace will help you tear down the park and dominate the rails. This mid-soft women’s board is made for the backyard park rider with ambition.

Developed as a go-to, ride-it-all deck, the Basic has been refined over the years to the point that both pros and newbies reach for it on a regular basis. The UnderBite outline extracts more arc, more hold and a better carving experience out of every design we apply it to and the Basic was the genesis of it all. Guillaume Rousseaux designed the board.

Camrock 3-4-3 - The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.

SHAPE 

UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This increases the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy in the areas where you need it - from the binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.

CORE

Exturded - Just like it says. This material is formed by extrusion. It’s softer than our other two bases, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. At the speeds many of us ride, this material is actually quicker (gets up to speed faster) than sintered when waxed correctly. You may have your own proof of this when you’re smoking by someone with a dried out “high-end” base. It also retains wax better because it’s more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if you get scratches in it.
