Queenstown & Wanaka Ski & Board Rental Gear

At BASE Ultimate Rentals we guarantee you the Ultimate ski & snowboard rental gear. Your gear will be from this season or last season and you'll find the gear you need whether you're just starting out on snow or you're at home in the park or pow.

We offer two levels of rental equipment: Performance and Ultimate. So, you get to choose the ski or board gear that's best for you.

All gear is replaced every 1-2 seasons and maintained by our workshop crew throughout the season. That means you get it the best possible shape for current local conditions.

Both Performance and Ultimate packages come with the option to swap between skis and snowboards during your holiday for free! The Ultimate category allows you to pick and choose your gear for your preferences, ability and current mountain conditions.

PERFORMANCE SKI & SNOWBOARD 

Just starting out or keeping it chill? Our Performance skis and snowboards are the perfect value option for beginners that are going to cruise around the groomers.

Easy to ride, stable, and forgiving, they’re designed to help you build confidence while you get comfortable on the snow.

Perfect for learning the basics or cruising groomers at your own pace, these Performance rentals let you enjoy your day on the mountain without overthinking your gear.

 

ULTIMATE SKI & SNOWBOARD

They say there's a different ski or snowboard for every occasion, and you get to choose the best tool for the job with the Ultimate range. Whether you're after carving the groomers race-style, a beginner ski or board to get you progressing quicker, a heli or fat powder ski, or are after anything in between to get you all over the mountain, we have it in our racks waiting for you.

 Looking to try off trail skiing for the first time? Spending half your time carving groomers and half hunting powder stashes? A ski from the ultimate range will get you there.

Our Ultimate rental fleet reflects the retail wall, doubling as a demo range so that you can try all of the latest top-end skis & boards in the market.

All Ultimate skis and snowboards will be brand new or close to it, and will be serviced before and during your trip.
