Jones Stratos Splitboard 2023
Regular price $1,599.99 Save $0.00The new Stratos splitboard is an all-conditions, all-terrain splitboard built for ripping turns, slashing gullies and boosting airs in the backcountry.
A directional freeride shape blended with the board feel of a freestyle stick give the Stratos Split a remarkable energy on snow. The Stratos Split’s energetic board feel is thanks to a narrow sidecut, friendly flex and camber heavy directional rocker profile, while 10mm of taper and a 3D Contour Base 3.0 keep the Stratos Split super quick edge-to-edge. For added response, the Stratos Split is built with our premium Ultra core, Flax/Basalt Power stringers and an ECO-plastic topsheet. For added edge grip and torsional board lock, the Stratos Split features Inner/Outer Traction Tech 3.0, the Boltless Bridge, and Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0. Nimble and confident in any terrain, the Stratos Split makes you want to slice and dice your way down a run the most fun way possible.
Directional Rocker
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.
3D Contour Base 3.0
Freeride focused 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.
Traction Tech 3.0
Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.
Progressive sidecut
At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Tapered shape, 10 mm
The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns.
Blunt nose
How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep, is dictated by it’s front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the ‘snow plow’ rounded tip and it’s extra swing weight. - Jeremy Jones
Directional Flex Pattern
Off set tip-to-tail flex pattern that is designed for directional freeride boards. The nose, center of board and tail are slightly different stiffnesses to help lift the nose, sink the tail and improve stability at speed.
V-Core
Jones exclusive wood core profiling that offers a stable and playful board feel. The wood core is softer between the feet for easy turn initiation and stiffer in the nose and tail for stability riding through uneven terrain and landing airs.
Built with the finest tech and materials
100% of our adult models feature high-end materials, construction technologies and sustainable manufacturing process. We accept no compromises in producing the most durable and sustainable snowboarding gear.
Base
Wend Natural Wax
Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
Sintered 9900 Base
Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and Carbon. This ultra-fast base is easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE.
Extra hardware
Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 with Tip-Lock
Redesigned Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 are lighter weight, clamp tighter and have a smaller footprint than the original Ultra Clip. They are also adjustable so you can maintain even compression as your splitboard ages.
Fiber
Biax fiberglass
A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.
Other features
Forever Flex
Forever Flex is a new manufacturing process that helps stabilise the flex and rocker of a board for its lifetime.
Factory Tuned
All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
Recycled rounded ABS
Rounded sidewall finish that improves board durability by protecting topsheet from chipping.
Stainless steel reinforcement
Stainless steel plates are embedded into the nose and tail for improved board tip durability.
Outer oversized recycled edges
Advancement in ski edge durability allow us to use thinner edges on splitboard inside edges to save weight. Outside edges are 2mm, inside edges are 1.5mm.
Inner thin recycled edges
Advancement in ski edge durability allow us to use thinner edges on splitboard inside edges to save weight. Outside edges are 2mm, inside edges are 1.5mm.
Reinforcements
Sustainable Flax/Basalt Power stringers
Sustainable stringer made with 100% natural fibers. Basalt stringers improve torsional response and transfer power from under your feet to the tips of the board to eliminate nose and tail chatter.
Topsheet
Textured Eco-plastic topsheet
Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans featuring a subtle texture for added durability. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet).
Woodcore
Ultra Split Core
Dual density premium wood core made of mostly paulownia with specially positioned poplar stringers for better durability and turn power.

Regular price $1,099.99 Save $0.00The Stratos is a hybrid all-mountain board built with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board.
The Stratos has a playful board feel thanks to a narrow sidecut and friendly flex, but the 10mm of taper and 3D Contour Base 3.0 give it the float and turn performance of a pow board. The directional rocker profile and Traction Tech 3.0 keep the Stratos locked on edge accelerating into carves and the textured Eco-plastic topsheet and Basalt stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough terrain. The Stratos also features Float Pack inserts that offer a setback stance option for the deepest days.

The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the 'snow plow' rounded tip and it's extra swing weight." - Jeremy Jones
10mm Taper – The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns.
Core
FSC™ Ultra Core – The new Ultra Core is Jones' lightest wood core yet. Made from mostly paulownia with specially positioned poplar stringers for better durability and turn power.
V-Core – Boards with V-Cores are slightly softer in the very center of the board for improved manouverability and stiffer through the tip and tail for stability and pop.
Laminates
Power Sustainable Basalt Stringers – Sustainable stringers made with 100% natural fibers. Basalt stringers improve torsional response and transfer power from under your feet to the tips of the board to help eliminate nose and tail chatter.
Sidewalls
Recycled ABS – ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.
Base
Sintered 9900 Base – Sintered Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene with carbon additives.
Flip Flop Base – Flip-Flop bases improve board sustainability by reducing p-tex waste.
Edges
Traction Tech 3.0 – Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.
Oversized Recycled Edges – All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.
Topsheet
Textured Eco-Plastic Topsheet – Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans featuring a subtle texture for added durability. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet).
Additional Features
Bio Resin – All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy.
Factory Tuned – All Jones snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
Wend Natural Wax – Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Insert Pattern
Float Pack Inserts – New for 2021, Float Pack Inserts give you the option of a super setback stance for guaranteed float on the deepest days.

For playful float in pow, the Mind Expander features a Surf Rocker profile, a 3D Contour Base 3.0, and a hybrid directional shape. The blunted nose, full-size tail, and tight sidecut offer the nimble maneuverability of a directional board matched with the freestyle abilities of a directional twin. The Mind Expander also features a Bamboo Surf Core and Basalt Power Stringers for better edge response and Rounded Recycled ABS Sidewalls for improved top sheet durability. For added speed and stance options, the Mind Expander has a Sintered 8000 base and Carve Pack inserts that offer a more centered stance for ripping hardpack.
Rider Type: All-Mountain / Freeride / Powder

Flex: 6/10 Medium
Rocker: Rocker
Ability Level: Intermediate / Advanced
FEATURES:
Rocker Type
Christenson Surf Rocker – Custom tip/tail rocker profile designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson for the Mind Expander, Mountain Surfer and Storm Chaser. The nose rocker starts just inside of the front inserts and the tail rocker starts just at the back inserts. When you weight the tail of the board, the nose ramps up out of the snow for insane float on the deepest days. These subtle rocker contours match a Christenson surfboard rocker profile.
Flex
Directional Flex Pattern
Flex Rating – 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Forever Flex – All Jones boards are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use to help stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it's lifetime.

Regular price $1,049.99 Save $0.00The Hovercraft is an alternative freeride board whose nimble maneuverability and diverse performance has earned it a cult following.
Its unique, compact shape matches a short tail with a long sidecut so you can rip turns of any size. The Hovercraft is designed to be ridden shorter than your average freeride board as the trim shape packs serious surface area in a small package. For serious float in any snow condition, the Hovercraft features a directional rocker profile and a 3D Contour Base 3.0, and for added edge grip it has Traction Tech 3.0 edges. Fresh for 21/22, the Hovercraft has a new look with a refined Engineered Veneer Topsheet and a black + transparent base plus laser-etched top sheet markings that eliminate all solvent inks. Without any inks on the board, not even the sidewalls, the new Hovercraft is the most sustainably produced board we've ever made!

Regular price $1,049.99 Save $0.00The Aviator is a hard-charging directional twin built for expert all-mountain riders who like to rail turns and stomp airs anywhere on the mountain. This new edition of the Aviator was designed in collaboration with Jones team riders Victor de la Rue and Jimmy Goodman. What sets the Aviator apart is its FULL CAMBER profile. Victor and Jimmy swear by the power of full camber for edging on steeps and landing tricks on the tail. The Aviator also features a 3D Contour Base 2.0, Triax Fiberglass, Carbon/Innegra Reinforcement, an ECO-Plastic top sheet, and Traction Tech 3.5 edges. The 3D Contour Base starts after the contact point and helps eliminate edge catch and improve turn fluidity while the Triax fiberglass and Carbon Innegra layer under the Eco-Plastic top sheet suck up board chatter and offer supreme pop and lightning-fast response to your every movement.
Rider Type: All-Mountain / Freestyle
Shape: Directional Twin
Flex: Stiff
Rocker: Camber
Ability Level: Advanced / Expert
FEATURES:
Rocker Type
True Camber – Pop, power, and stability - it's full camber, baby.
Flex
Direction Flex Pattern
Flex Rating – 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Forever Flex – All Jones boards are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use to help stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it's lifetime.
Shape
3D Contour Base 2.0 – Moderate 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and 4mm spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.
Progressive Sidecut – At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Blunt Nose – "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn, or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the 'snow plow' rounded tip and it's extra swing weight." - Jeremy Jones
Core
Power Core – Triple-density full wood core featuring hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability plus paulownia for weight savings.
V-Core – Boards with V-Cores are slightly softer in the very center of the board for improved maneuverability and stiffer through the tip and tail for stability and pop.
Koroyd® Core
Laminates
Triax Fiberglass – Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate that offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions.
Carbon / Innegra Reinforcement – Carbon Innegra fiber forms an ultra-tough hybrid composite layer that dampens the board torsionally and from tip to tail. Made in the USA and featured on the Aviator, Airheart, and Lone Wolf.
Sustainable Flax / Basalt Stringers – Jones exclusive sustainable stringer made with 100% natural fibers. Composite Flax and Basalt stringer helps transfer power to the edges, improves torsional response, and absorbs board chatter.
Sidewalls
Recycled ABS – ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.
Base
Sintered 8000 Base – New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene and carbon.
Edges
Oversized Recycled Edges – All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.
Traction Tech 3.0 – Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.
Topsheet
Eco-Plastic Topsheet – Bio-plastic top sheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant, and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to top sheet).
Additional Features
Factory Tuned – All Jones snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
Wend Natural Wax – Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
Bio Resin – All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum-based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Regular price $929.99 Save $0.00The new Tweaker is a freestyle-focused true twin that’s built to pop ollies, toss tricks, and carve creative lines in any terrain.
A True Twin shape, buttery flex, and True Camber profile give the Tweaker a playful, evenly balanced board feel, but don’t mistake the Tweaker for your average freestyle twin. The Tweaker’s unique double-radius nose and tail profile maximize the running length of the blunted shape and offer amazing float, while the V-core profiling on the Tweaker’s Classic Core makes the flex softer between the feet for nimble maneuverability and stiffer in the tips for supreme stomp-ability. The Tweaker has Traction Tech 2.0 edges for added edge grip riding through rough snow, and the spooned nose and tail edges on the 3D Contour Base 3.0 reduce edge catch and make it easy to butter and boardslide. Finished with a Sintered 8000 base and an Eco-plastic top sheet, the Tweaker is a durable and high-performance modern manifestation of a timeless true twin snowboard shape.
Rider Type: All-Mountain / Freestyle
Shape: True Twin
Flex: 6/10 - Medium
Rocker: Camber
Ability Level: Advanced / Expert
FEATURES:
Camber Type: Camber
A traditional full camber profile offers the most edge response and stability possible. The camber radius tapers into the 3D contoured base and releases the edges so you aren't getting hooked up and thrown off, offering a less-catchy feel while still being responsive.
Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Medium flex boards offer good stability at speed and are easy to turn and maneuver.
Twin Flex
This board flexes the same in the nose and tail, allowing you to ride, pop, and press the same in regular and switch.
V-Core 3.0
Boards with V-Cores are slightly softer in the very center of the board for improved maneuverability and stiffer from the inserts through the tip and tail for stability and pop.
Shape: Twin
Constructed exactly the same tip to tail, this board is designed to provide a consistent performance when riding in both switch and regular.
3D Base Contour 3.0
A moderate 3D base contour featuring an even balance of 7mm of bevel in the nose and tail. Spoon makes the base roll through turns instead of landing flat, making your turns smoother and more natural.
Core: FSC Classic Core
A full wood premium poplar core that offers great pop, even flex, and reliable durability.
Biax Fibreglass
A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.
Sustainable Flax / Basalt Stringers
New Jones exclusively sustainable stringers made with 100% natural fibers. Composite Flax and Basalt stringers help transfer power to the edges, improve torsional response, and absorb board chatter.
Base: Sintered 8000
This new super durable base material is made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and carbon, making it easily repairable, highly wax absorbent, and super fast.
Extra Features:
Oversized Recycled Edges - Exactly what it sounds like, enhanced sustainability and added durability.
Eco-Plastic Topsheet - An ultralight chip/scratch-resistant top sheet made from castor beans. Good for your board, good for the environment.
Traction Tech 3.0 - Like a serrated knife cutting through the snow, Traction Tech adds multiple contact points along the edge of the board for enhanced grip and edge hold in all conditions.
Wend Natural Wax - Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with Wend natural wax.
Bio Resin - All Jones boards are built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum-based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Bio Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Bio Resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy.
Recycled Black ABS - ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.
Factory Tuned - All Jones snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail, so you can go riding straight away.
Blunt Tips - A more freestyle-focused shape for reduced swing weight.
Forever Flex - Jones boards now are finished slightly overbuilt and are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics riding use. This flexes the fibers and epoxy and allows them to settle into their final state, similar to riding the boards for 20 days. This provides a much more accurate flex rating.

RESTRICED BRANDS
Some brands are restricted and cannot be shipped internationally. For more information please CONTACT US or call us on 0800 227 373 within business hours.Jones Nomad Splitboard Skins
Regular price $449.99 Save $0.00Jones Nomad Climbing Skins are premium splitboard skins that offer the ideal balance of glide, grip and durability.
The Nomad skin fibers are 70% Mohair and 30% Synthetic Nylon. The natural mohair fibers deliver exceptional glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. The nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin track gets steep or icy and improved durability over 100% Mohair skins. Nomad skins are PFC-free and are coated with Bluesign-approved EVER DRY 3.0 Anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow. Jones Nomad PRO Skins are also laminated with RUBBER SAFER SKIN backing. This rubber layer keeps the skin from absorbing water and makes the skins easier to pull apart. Nomad skins are available in two models: Trim-To-Fit with Universal Tail Clip and Pre-Cut with Quick Tension Tail Clip. The Quick Tension Tail Clip adjusts in seconds, provides the perfect skin tension and is compatible with all Jones splitboards 2016 and newer.
Ever Dry (Bluesign approved)
Jones skins are treated with EVER DRY anti-glopping treatment. The coating keeps the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice build-up under the skin.
70% Mohair / 30% Nylon
Jones Nomad and Nomad PRO climbing skins are both made with a blend of 70% natural mohair fiber and 30% synthetic nylon. The mohair offers unmatched glide and a supple skin feel while the nylon improves grip and water repellency.
Grip Tech
Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that works well under dynamic tension and has a high resistance to twisting and abrasion.
Rubber Safer skins
Jones skins are laminated with a rubber backing that prevents skins from getting waterlogged. Drier skins are safer as they are less likely to lose adhesion to your skis in critical situations.
Universal tip clip
The Universal Tip Clip securely fastens the skin to the tip of the split ski. It is compatible with any board shape and all splitboard brands.
Quick tension tail clip
The Quick Tension Tail Clip is a lightweight tail clip system designed to fit all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Discovery). Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. The Quick Tension Clip features a durable rubber tail strap and compact metal clip.
Skins package includes: One pair skins with Quick Tension Tail Clips attached / Two Backing Sheets / Skin Bag / Cheat Sheet
- Pre-Cut Skin with Quick Tension Tail Clip
- Nine Pre-Cut Sizes
