Countless hours on the skin track. A healthy number of summits and ridgelines, and more pow turns than we can count. It’s all lead to this. The K2 Freeloader was built to climb faster, descend sharper, and get you further into the backcountry than any splitboard K2 has ever built.

The K2 Freeloader Splitboard package is built on the same unisex outline as the Marauder Split. A bit of taper in the tail of the Freeloader helps it sink in the deep stuff, while the wider nose stays up well above the surface and blasts through choppy snow. The Paulownia TourLite core is ultra-lightweight and is wrapped in a triaxial braided fiberglass featuring our ICG™️ 20 technology. By integrating 20 tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into the fiberglass, K2 add pop to the board without unnecessary weight for edging and traversing on firm slopes and extra snappiness on the decent. The premium top sheet technology, called Snophobic™️, reduces snow build-up on the top of the board while climbing to keep you moving fast and light. Less weight equals longer tours and more laps.

Core

A1 Core – Lightweight, snappy, and durable, the all-new A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - bamboo, aspen, and paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, it's combined with bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. They've also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swing weight.

ICG™ 20 Triaxial Carbon Glass – Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass layups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.

SpaceGlass™ Tip and Tail – An American made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at reduced weight. SpaceGlass™ inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability.

Base

Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base – Built using the hardest and fasted sintered base material on the market, the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base holds wax longer than other sintered bases for smoother, longer lasting glide.

3D Nose Contour – 3D contour (spoon) that is gradually blended from the running sur-face deflects soft snow, eases turn initiation, while remaining predictable on hardpack.

recess3d Topsheet – By reducing the amount of materials in low-stress zones, K2 is able to reduce the swing weight of your snowboard, while also reducing chatter in the tip and tail - all without sacrificing strength.

The SPLITPIG is the WARPIG shape that breaks in half so you can walk up mountains and thrash every feature on the way down. Its got the flex of a WARPIG with a Carbon Race Base and a little bit of camber for the climb. Featuring a brushed nylon topsheet to reduce weight while shedding snow. The Split Performance Core features a Slimewall ® center sidewall for maximum vibration damping. The Channel Binding Mounting System allows for more stance options and a much easier setup than standard split inserts, which limit stance options. The SPLITPIG comes with Pomoca Climb 2.0 skins custom fit to the shape and a canted binding mounting puck that works with some split bindings on the market. Forget custom-cutting your skins and well cut to the chase: The SPLITPIG will allow you to access more off-piste locations in the mountains.

Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut – A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.

Double Impact Plates – Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.

Carbon Array 3™ – This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.

Hybrid Glass – Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.

Sidewalls

Slimewalls® – RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Roll-In Construction – Unique 3D structure built around the urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

FITMENT NOTE:

The SPLITPIG requires the use of a splitboard binding or a kit that converts your standard binding into a splitboard binding. RIDE does not currently make a splitboard binding, but Voll © makes a kit that will allow you to use your RIDE binding on this splitboard. The SPLITPIG comes with a canted puck that will work with a number of splitboard bindings that normally require you to purchase the puck separately (Spark, Burton, Volle, K2). Other split bindings (Karakorum and Union) will not use the included puck (check with the manufacturer) but should come with all the equipment required to mount to the SPLITPIG.

RadCut – A traditional sidecut between the inserts fuses with multiple reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail, providing real time sidecut adjustment to the ride, ie. longer when faster, shorter when slower, and delivering the perfect cut at all times. More aggressive sidecut blends deliver quicker, livelier turns, while smoother sidecuts offer a more fluid, relaxed ride.

SPECS:

New to the K2 spitboard family for the 2024 snowboard range is the Isolator. Made with a strong and responsive Paulownia Tour-Lite core this thing is LITE! A bit stiffer than the Marauder Splitboard the Isolator has the ICG 20 Biax Carbon Fiberglass laminates as opposed to the 10 the Marauder sports. The K2 Isolator has a wide nose with no rocker in the tail so has a true directional shape and camber. Sporting the  Volume Shift technology you can size down 4-5cm shorter than you would usually ride.

Built at K2's Team's request and targeted at the advanced-to-expert level rider, the Antidote is a unisex all-mountain snowboard that blurs the lines between freeride and freestyle. The Andtdote is responsive and slightly setback for hard-charging, all-mountain ripping, but also, you wouldn't be wrong to think this looks a lot like a freestyle snowboard. It has full, traditional camber and is symmetrically shaped, making it super responsive through turns and balanced in the air.
