Australian artist and designer Marcus Dixon illustrated the graphic on this season’s Afterblack. A morph of a flaming 8-ball transitioning into a flying eagle is paired with Marcus’ rendition on the classic K2 logo. A tonal, and logo-heavy base graphic provides a clean aesthetic that is easy  on the eyes.

It starts with a heat-moldable liner made of open-cell Intuition® foam - allowing the liner to form to the exact shape of your leg, ankle, and foot for superior fit, warmth, and comfort. The secret to the award-winning fit is our Conda™ liner lacing system. Powered by a BOA® Fit System dial, this forgiving and adjustable harness is designed to pull the user's heel into the boot's heel pocket. The K2 Boundary snowboard boot features a dual-zone closure with BOA® Fit System to micro-tune your fit. A dedicated BOA® dial for the upper shell and a second dial dedicated to closing the lower part of the shell. The upper cuff of the boot is constructed with our HDR Premium Synthetics. It features a fully articulating design, upping the durability factor while reducing the distortion of the shell as it flexes forward.

Inside, a supportive three-point harness is integrated into the shell, wrapping itself around a thermoformable Intuition® Control Foam 3D liner for the ultimate fit.

Underfoot, our proprietary This Grips!™ rubber outsole provides excellent grip while hiking, boot packing, and walking across icy parking lots and sits atop a dual-density midsole. New to the K2 spitboard family for the 2024 snowboard range is the Isolator. Made with a strong and responsive Paulownia Tour-Lite core this thing is LITE! A bit stiffer than the Marauder Splitboard the Isolator has the ICG 20 Biax Carbon Fiberglass laminates as opposed to the 10 the Marauder sports. The K2 Isolator has a wide nose with no rocker in the tail so has a true directional shape and camber. Sporting the  Volume Shift technology you can size down 4-5cm shorter than you would usually ride.
