TWIN CAMBER PROFILE - Full camber all the way out or near the contact points provides an ultra-responsive and stable platform for powerful and precise freestyle maneuvers in all terrain or conditions and delivers the most pop available in the K2 line.

SHAPE

True Twin - Ride regular or switch and you're in for a good time. If you were to fold this board in half, you would find perfect symmetry from tip to tail. Jib, spin and stomp with confidence and perfect balance.

CORE

BAP - A core made from Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia. A blend of three renewable species makes a strong and lightweight core, with plenty of dampening.

Spaceglass Tip & Tail - An American-made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at a reduced weight. SpaceGlass™ inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability. Found In the Tip and tail of the Hypnotist.

Carbon Backbone - Increases the snap of the board, without making the tip and tail unneccesarily stiff.

Carbon Darkweb -  A carbon fiber X-pattern that is strategically placed underfoot from edge-to-edge to speed up transitions, increase control, and increase underfoot strength.

Triax Glass - Glass laminate with diagonal layers to add torsional stiffness to the board.

Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base – Built using the hardest and fasted sintered base material on the market from Crown, the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base hold wax longer than other sintered bases for a smoother glide, longer.

Built at K2's Team's request and targeted at the advanced-to-expert level rider, the Antidote is a unisex all-mountain snowboard that blurs the lines between freeride and freestyle. The Andtdote is responsive and slightly setback for hard-charging, all-mountain ripping, but also, you wouldn't be wrong to think this looks a lot like a freestyle snowboard. It has full, traditional camber and is symmetrically shaped, making it super responsive through turns and balanced in the air. Whether you're throwing freestyle tricks into the deep stuff, playfully slaying big mountain, or just attacking the park and the rest of the mountain with equal intensity, the Antidote is the perfect new alternative to the tired choice between directional beefcakes and super soft park twin boards. A quiver killer some might say.

A1 Core – Lightweight, snappy, and durable, the all-new A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - bamboo, aspen, and paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, it's combined with bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. They've also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swing weight.

The K2 Afterblack is a premium freestyle snowboard that specializes in night missions, wall rides, huge airs, and promises to come through in the clutch to give you the confidence to give it one more go. Designed for the intermediate-to-expert level snowboarder, the Afterblack is a mid-flexing true-twin with a Combination Camber Profile - with camber in between the bindings and rocker on the outside of the insiders - giving it a playful feel while still being able to hold speed and track straight into the next feature. It’s tri-blend BAP Core blends bamboo, aspen, and paulownia woods together to deliver snap and rebound while damping vibration on the harshest landings. Wrapping the core, tip-to-tail triaxially woven fiberglass and Carbon DarkWeb™ gives the Afterblack stability and edge control for popping off lips and sending big side hits, and the fast and durable Sintered 4000 base soaks up wax to ensure you’ll have enough speed to send you well past the knuckle and down to the sweet spot in the landing. Australian artist and designer Marcus Dixon illustrated the graphic on this season’s Afterblack. A morph of a flaming 8-ball transitioning into a flying eagle is paired with Marcus’ rendition on the classic K2 logo. A tonal, and logo-heavy base graphic provides a clean aesthetic that is easy  on the eyes.
