Built to take freeriding further into the unknown, the XV SPLIT is the split board version of Xavier De Le Rue's signature pro model snowboard. Featuring the same directional shape, flex profile, and Serrated Edge technology as the standard XV, this split board version retains the original's hard-charging characteristics so you can attack the biggest, boldest, and most remote backcountry lines.
RIDER ABILITY- Expert
The Rossignol XV has a super stiff flex pattern, and Camber dominant profile that's tailored towards experienced riders.
RIDING STYLE- Backcountry Splitboard
Perfect for getting away from the lift lines and out into nature, Splitboards are for the diehards out there that want to pick their own lines, earn their turns, and do it all while away from the massive crowds that resorts offer
A Stiffer flex allows for higher stability at speed, better drive out of turns, and higher amounts of pop. At the sacrifice of a bit of playfulness
Camrock is a type of Hybrid Camber that places camber underfoot and reverse camber sections towards the nose and tail. This allows for all the power, drive, and precision of a fully cambered board, and then makes it easier riding and more controlled. A perfect jack of all trades profile.
Directional boards allow for plenty of float and stability at speed due to their larger noses and smaller tails. But they sacrifice the ability to ride switch easily. Great for those who want to charge hard or ride pow!
CORE- THC CBF - FSC Certified
A Triple wood Hybrid Core featuring a CBF laminate. This offers a high level of performance and durability. FSC Certified cores also are made in a way that is environmentally, economically, and socially responsible way.
GLASS- Basalt / Kevlar Infused
A traditional fiberglass laminate, fused with Basalt and Kevlar to offer even more pop and power than traditional offerings.
BASE- Sintered 7500
Sintered Bases are some of the fastest out there on the market. Sintered bases are found on higher end boards and absorb more wax than their extruded counterparts. This makes them super fast in a wide variety of snow conditions.
