The XV SASHIMI LG is constructed and designed to schmear the lines between playful, progressive, and full-send modes. Developed in partnership with 3X FWT winner Xavier De Le Rue to fit between the XV and XV Sushi series. Softer than the XV for ease of use, narrower and longer than the XV Sushi for maneuverability and float, Xavier's latest signature is solid underfoot, balanced, versatile, grippy, stable and reliable to let you push your performance with ease.
RIDER ABILITY- Advanced / Expert
The Sashimi is designed to be riden by advanced riders looking to take on big mountain freeride adventures. It features a stiff flex and a Camber dominant profile.
RIDING STYLE- All Mountain Freeride
A super versatile design that's designed to charge hard and go big, while still being more than capable all around the resort
A Stiffer flex allows for higher stability at speed, better drive out of turns, and higher amounts of pop. At the sacrifice of a bit of playfullness.
PROFILE- Directional Camber
Reverse Camber in the nose make for an easy riding board with tons of float, while Camber going underfoot towards the tail make for a board you can load up with plenty of pop and drive out of turns.
Directional boards allow for plenty of float and stability at speed due to their larger noses and smaller tails. But they sacrifice the ability to ride switch easily. Great for those who want to charge hard or ride pow!
An Aspen Wood core offers high performance. With tons of pop, snap, and drive from turns. While staying durable for years.
GLASS- Biax Fiberglass
This is a traditional Biaxial layout found on more playful boards. Fiberglass running at 0, and +90 degree angles are stitched together to provide a versatile flex both through the length of the board, as well as a more torsionally.
Sintered bases are found on higher end boards and absorb more wax than their extruded counterparts. This makes them super fast in a wide variety of snow conditions.
