A true twin backed up with carbon and Kevlar for a stout flex, this beast is ready to slash the line between freestyle playtime and big mountain freeride. The Rossignol Black Ops Snowboard is available with a wide or mid-wide waist, so it can keep you on top on the biggest powder days, and it has tons of pop and edge hold for you to tear up the park the rest of the time.

Rocker Type

AmpTek Elite Rocker – Featuring stiff extremities and a softer waist, AmpTek Elite is composed of 60-100% camber with an applicable percentage of rocker at the extremities, offering explosive edge grip, pop, and stability.

Flex

Flex Rating 9 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A symmetrical flex, stiff under the binding areas for punch and grip underfoot with a stiffer waist for stability at high speed.

Shape

Twin Freestyle – This true twin shape with symmetrical flex is stiffer under feet for pop and balance, with a softer waist for easy manipulation and control.

RadCut – A traditional sidecut between the inserts fuses with multiple reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail, providing real time sidecut adjustment to the ride, ie. longer when faster, shorter when slower, and delivering the perfect cut at all times. RadCut is offered in multiple versions, each tailored for individual riding styles. More aggressive sidecut blends deliver quicker, livelier turns, while smoother sidecuts offer a more fluid, relaxed ride.

Core

Twinwood C/K – This core features hard and soft wood types laminated with Carbon and Aramid fibers along the edges through the tip and the tail of the board for a unique blend of durability, stability at speed, edge grip, and lightened swing weight.

Laminates

Freestyle Torsion Box – Consists of an additional layer of glass fiber that wraps around the woodcore at both the front and the back insert areas, and extends towards the tip, tail, and middle of the board for explosive pop, superior resistance to torsion, and unique shock absorption.

Glass Fiber – Has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it the #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance. Glass fiber also stabilizes the mechanical properties of wood cores over time.

Carbon – Combining high flexibility with high tensile strength, low weight, high resistance and low thermal expansion makes carbon fibers the perfect pick for explosive pop.

Aramid – Also known as Kevlar®, acts as a vibration dampener that softens rough landings. Durable, strong and extremely lightweight, Kevlar® is often used in ballistic body armor.

Sidewalls

ABS Sidewalls – Offered as walls or built in cores, ABS provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture.

5S Serrated Edge Technology – Exclusive 5S Serrated Edge Technology offers five smaller points of edge contact (one between the inserts and two on either side of the inserts), expanding grip to once unreachable areas of the board for increased stability and edge hold with a smoother, less aggressive feel.

Binding Compatibility

2 x 4 Insert Pattern – Micro adjust your stance for more leverage. You can make more aggressive turns and float easily through powder by setting your stance back or put it in the middle for cruising through the park.

When will I receive my Order? - Depending on what it is and how large your order is plays a big part on how long it will take.

Once we receive your order we will get it out to you as soon as possible. Some times the stock can be in our Queenstown store and needs to be brought over to Wanaka to ship out. Small items, once sent are on overnight NZ Post so should be 1-2 business days.

Larger items such as bags, skis, snowboards are sent with PBT and run on a 4-5 business days south island and 7-9 Days North Island. Sometimes these can take up to three weeks to the North Island so please allow time to get to you. These are also subject to delays due to staff shortages / Christmas madness etc. along the chain.

Please keep in mind that if you have a rural address this can add an extra day or two also.

In general, we ship our orders with CourierPost, which we run on a 1-2 day service with pickup at 3pm each day.  

Larger items, such as luggage, skis and snowboards, ship on an earlier service with PBT couriers. This is a fully traceable service. (Just to note: if it is a rural delivery, it can take a few more days depending on your local service.)

PICK UP IN STORE OPTION

Want to come collect your order from our store in Wanaka or Queenstown? Great! We will email you when your order is ready to collect. This can take from 2-4 business days depending on what it is.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All the stock you see online is in New Zealand! Not from somewhere dodgy overseas.

Orders made during the weekend or on public holidays, when couriers do not operate, will be processed on the following business day or soon after.

Online is a crazy business and sometime inventory can get mucked up in the numbers, we may not have the ordered item on hand. If we cannot fulfil your entire order, within the stated time frames, we aim to contact you within 36hrs (Mon-Fri). 

Should you not receive an order confirmation or update please check your spam/junk filter in your email as it may have been filtered incorrectly. 

If an item ordered is unavailable for shipping, depending on your preference, we will:

  • Substitute another product for your order
  • Refund or credit your order.
  • Ship your order at a later date
  • Contact you when the requested item is back in stock

AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING

We can offer the best price possible for a traceable, signature service which is targeted for 2-6 business days with a flat rate of $28 to Australia for small items, as most of the orders are under 2KG. If your order is over 2KG, we will contact you to advise of the shipping rate. 

International shipping is non-refundable after the items have been sent.

*If your delivery is considered Rural / Urban by DHL or to Tasmania, where additional charges will apply, we will contact you to advise you of this charge. At no point will we change an additional amount without your authorization.

International shipping is via DHL Couriers or New Zealand Post.
