The BASE Team was established in 2001 and continued for its 7th season in 2007 with its aim of promoting and supporting promising up and coming skiers and snowboarder. This years team consisted of 17 members of varied ages (9-60ish), experience and disciplines all combining to produce some world class results.

This season has seen a number of riders set up their game and come out with exceptional results. Result highlights include age group and open champions Phil Dominick, Natalie Allen, and Connor Harding, as well as, Piera Hudson becoming the South Island Ski Racing Champ, Hayden Seddon 6th placing in a world class field at the Marmot Extreme skiing competition some top 3 placing for in the Junior Nationals for Raphael Beazley, Beau-James Wells, Lyndon Sheehan, Tim Herbert and Mack James.

All in all the season was very successful for the BASE team with heaps of wicked results, personal bests, beautiful photos and no serious long term injuries! We can’t wait to see the crew step it up again next season!!!
