BASE Down Town Rail Jam 24th August 2007

The first ever, BASE Downtown Rail Jam held in August 07, was held at the conclusion of the NZ Free Ski
Open. 2500 people packed out the Bullock
Bar car park to watch as over 40 skiers and snowboarders hit the massive BASE
rail. The crowd was entertained by a super-high level of
riding, MC’s, a sweet DJ, the Export Gold ‘thirst fighter’ fire engine and who
could forget the snowboarder landing back flips off the kicker much to the
crowds and the judges delight. The event was
broadcast live on snow.co.nz and received coverage on numerous New Zealand and International websites as well as heaps of
coverage on local radio and print media. Big
thanks to Bullock Bar, Snow Park, Rossignol, Nitro, Fisher
and all the crew who helped with setup, organization and for your support!
Check out hi-lites of the past Rail Jam!!!
The BASE Downtown Rail Jam won't be held this '08 winter, don't hold it against us, but I promise we'll bring it back for 2009 and you will Love It!
