What is a Foot-bed? 

A Foot-Bed or Custom Insole is a personalized support for your foot.  Utilising technologies from Sidas by Conform’able (a world leader in foot function support)  we build a bespoke molded bed from your feet in a manner dependent upon your personal biomechanical attributes.  After the mold has been taken we will then ‘post’ the Foot-Bed with varying techniques to match your foot type plus level and style of riding.  The end result supports the foot in a neutral position; reducing the natural tendency to spread out and roll to the outside or inside.  This relieves pressure points, cramping and foot fatigue whilst enhancing the foot’s ability to transfer energy.  Our aim is to work with the natural function of your biomechanical makeup through support  rather than correction.

Whilst skiing or snow boarding we place three times our body weight through our feet when turning.  The compounded stress and pressure through the foot during a days snow time is dramatic.

Over 25% of the bones in our body are in our feet and by their design they create an unstable tripod from which we move upon.  The foot functions and is controlled by a myriad of ligaments, tendons and muscles that support, stabilise and provide power to our movement from the bottom up.  Equally they transmit information to our brain aiding balance and body-awareness.  When the foot is supported in a neutral position our skeletal structure becomes ‘stacked’ and our body becomes naturally stronger and more efficient.
