The surface of the shell fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish that acts as an initial barrier to moisture. The backside of this fabric is also treated with another water resistant and breathable coating to act as a climate control system, this coating allows perspiration to exit, keeps moisture from penetrating inward, and will keep your hands perfectly warm, comfortable and dry from season to season.
